| From concerts to sporting events to rodeos to trade shows, the Convocation Center Arena is the place to be in Northeast Arkansas. The arena holds many ASU Indian athletic events such as Volleyball, Men's and Women's Basketball, and Indoor Track meets. The Arena features 29,000 square feet of space on the arena floor, 40,000 square feet of space on the mezzanine level, and 10,529 telescopic retractable seats. This makes the facility extremely versatile and can be used for a variety of functions. |

Patrons look forward to the regular annual events held in the Arena of the Convocation Center. Families attend the Rotary Club's Arkansas Sports Show in February, viewing the newest in boating equipment, RV's and camping equipment, fishing gear, and much more. The Lions Club's Jonesboro Auto Show displays the best in antique and unique automobiles. In April, the Greater Jonesboro Chamber of Commerce sponsors the Business Expo, featuring displays of the major industries in Jonesboro and surrounding areas. Bull Bust, also held in March, has the biggest and baddest bulls. Harper Rodeo, sponsored by the Northeast Arkansas District Fair, brings out little and big Buckaroos alike to come and watch the bucking broncos. Each spring and fall, the Indian Club hosts the Spring 'N Arkansas Arts and Crafts show, and the Lit'l Bit'a Christmas Arts and Crafts show. The Arena is filled with whatever you could imagine and more in the way of arts and crafts. |
